The Present Perfect Continuous is used to express an action or situation that began in the past and continues until now, to express an action with a result in the present, to express the actions those are done many times in a period of time from the past until now.

II. USE
1. To express an action or situation that began in the past and continues until now.
- You are so late! I have been waiting for you.
** We often use "for" and "since" with the Present Perfect Continuous. We use "for" with a period of time, and "since" with a point in time.
- I have been waiting for you for two hours.
- I have been waiting for you since 6 o'clock.
- He has been working in the bank for ten years.
- He has been working in the bank since 1995.
- John has been talking on the phone for two hours.
** We can use "How long" with the Present Perfect Continuous.
- How long have you been living there?
2. To express an action with a result in the present.
- I am hot because I have been running.
- She is tired because she has been working hard.
3. To express the actions those are done many times in a period of time from the past until now.
- She has been having driving lessons for a couple of months
